Mostarda is a sweet-spicy speciality from northern Italy. Whole candied fruit with the addition of mustard-flavored syrup. Fruit includes: cherries, apricots, peaches, clementines, pears, figs and melon. Spicy notes, with a sweet background taste.
Usually served with boiled meat "bollito misto", or cheese.
Ingredients: Candied fruits 53% (apricots, clementine, cabbage, peaches, figs, cherries, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, acidifier: citric acid, colouring: E127, antioxidant: sulphur dioxide), sugar, water, glucose syrup, mustard flavour, flavourings.
